Big XII Championship Game

Any chance that the recent payout for the PAC 12 with their championship game will make the Big XII rethink not having one. They are essentially passing up on at least $25 million a year for TV, not to mention what Jerry world could bring in revenues. What do you guys think?



The natural followup questions are whether BYU is added to make the 12 and whether we are willing to give up independence. I think the answer to both of those would be yes.

Why don't they steal a team from the PAC-10 like USC and the Y to get to 12.

Imagine getting 2 utahs or 2 colorado's (since they are both essentially the same) what was the pac 10.2 thinking? All that for Texas?

I think the Big 12 has some teams in mind already, but can not quite pull it off. If Arkansas would jump, this happens already. But why would Arkansas leave the SEC and go back to the Texas schools for less money, less stability? They would win more, but do not see it. That does leave BYU in a solid spot, if the Big 12 decides to get back to 12. Just do not see it for at least 2 years when their TV deal ends. It will go down just like the PAC-12 timing did.
