Poll--Best Ever Receivers

Cast your vote and state your case for the best ever wide receivers at BYU. Note that this is for wide receivers and we will have a separate category for slot receivers. There were a lot of nominees, so there is an "other" option.



The top three vote-getters will be enshrined in the CougarCorner All-Time BYU Team, so you get three votes.

If you can find youtube videos, that would be fun to reintroduce younger fans to the old-school.

Not voting yet until I see some highlight videos. Lets see them.

Forgot that Collie initially played in the worst-BYU unis (well, except the blue and orange unis they once had)

I voted Collie, Drage, and Miller

There was a receiver for BYU in 1977, Mike Chronister, who received Honorable All American and he had the hugest hands I have ever seen. He and John Jefferson really put on a show that year or 1978.



Golden Richards was great, but he was also a total burro sphincter.

Collie, Drage, Kozlowski, in that order.



Hopefully none of these three are still in the top three just three years from now!

Collie is easily the best BYU receiver ever, in my opinion:

1) he had great hands, often caught balls with one hand, rarely dropped passes

2) he ran great routes, always got open, and made a great target

3) if he got behind the defense, he never go caught from behind

4) he was strong and physical and could take a hit

5) he had three great years, was consistent, always brought the crowd to its feet



Although Coffman shows good potential, he didn't wow me as a freshman (Collie did)

Apo could be good or better, but it remains to be seen

I loved Drage, but he was no Collie

Koz was good, but again, no Collie
