When does HC announce decision for Davies?

Do you announce it during a busy week so bad or good news is crowded out by other news, or do you announce when no one cares about college football risking an ongoing media coverage because they ain't got nuthin else, or do you just announce it whenever you decide?

Either way. WHEN IS IT?

I'm wondering too. I really haven't even heard speculation about what might happen given what we know (which I guess is very little).

You don't announce it but just tell the coach and player. The public will know when he suits up for the first game.

Has the semester ended? I don't think we'll hear anything until next month. And it really doesnt matter, there is no hurry at this point.

Jeff Call tweets and a blog/story from the Deseret News state that Davies has withdrawn from BYU now that the semester has ended and that there is a plan in place to have him back by Fall.

Interesting. Withdraws the day before graduation, but after class has ended for the semester. Which means no summer school, but probably on same graduation path. I like the decision, and expect him back Fall 2011. Win-win.

I wouldn't be surprised to see him take some classes at UVU or something over the summer.

I heard the HC is opening up another department of "fixed" marriages. They butt in so many lives why not add the most important decision for them too? :gross:

Just send them to Las Vegas for the weekend, marry them on Friday and have it annulled on Monday. That

way they have their "fun" and the HC Nazi's can't do anything about it. I've heard that's common among Single Adults in Utah already! :whistle:

I know you're joking, but a student will get kicked out of BYU for doing that, 100%.

Super Dating? 5-10 years ago or so it was a pretty common occurrence... Not saying everyone did it, not even close. But a lot of people have done it. (I didn't attend the Y so I didn't get in on that, or know anyone personally. My wife knows people that have done it. She even informed me of the terminology.)

I did however, have a strong temptation to elope with my wife so that I wouldn't have to deal with her parents... but that is different (and very justifiable - if you knew my in-laws you would wonder why I didn't, and why I still allow them to talk to us.)

As I predicted back in March - now that the semester has ended - the plan is in place. I am pleased that they let Davies finish the semester and that they have provided a path back that will let him back in school with permission to play in the Fall.
