This video breakdown brought back so many good memories of this past season.

thanks for sharing, but it's almost like they showed more video of his misses and errors than his clutch shots. Made my blood pressure rise to watch those TO's even though i know we won most of those games.

I think it odd that they say one of his "weaknesses" is finishing around the rim. Fine, he doesn't pull off some Kobe-esk dunk, but he can finish around the rim. He either knocks down a 3 or hits a layup. And no mention of his 90% free throw rate.

They fail to mention that a lot of his not being able to finish at the rin had to do with the fact that he was hammered by 3 players on the way in.

I think that was a very fair assessment of Jimmer.



It was pretty small in scope.



Bottom line is, JImmer won't need to score 65% of his teams points in the NBA (unless he goes to the Jazz :roll: ) so he can play better defense and use his energy.



And you can teach defense, and work on it. Many players in the NBA have started out weak defensively, and ended up pretty good at it. You can't teach flat-out scoring, and a killer instinct, though. And you can't teach that range.

Amen to that!

I am really surprised they listed finishing at the rim as a weakness. He did force it sometimes, looking for the foul calls that towards the end of the year quit coming. But typically he does a really good job finishing at the rim.

I think they're confusing dunking with finishing at the rim.

well, he did miss over half the shots he took. He can't be that good right?



They were just trying to be objective.

Jimmer struggled to finish at the rim when he encountered NBA length and athletic ability. The question is if he can adjust his game- more floaters and pull-jumpers.
