Extra schollie next year

Greg Wrubell says James Anderson is graduating, won't come back for his last year of eligibility:

gregwrubell: Anderson, a senior academically, is graduating this spring; he is leaving the BYU BB program to pursue his professional career.

Is this the scholarship that goes to Hauns Brereton, or did we already have a free one for him?

Looks like Brereton is going to Hawaii. But this is a newly available scholarship.

Didn't we count that because of this last offer that has now fallen though that one of BYU's players would have to forego their scholarship to have offered Brereton? I see Anderson's scholie as being the reason Rose offered Brereton late like this.

Right so now BYU still has another scholarship available. Since Anderson's is now available and will not be used by Brerenton.

For those that grew up in the 70's...

"Choose wisely grasshopper (Rice)."

It would have been nice to hear a little bit of feedback on why Brereton chose Hawaii. I hope Rice has a good backup plan as pickins for an Anderson replacement are too pleniful this time of the year. I believe if they will play this fall that they would be eligible to go on the trip to Greece with the team because Wrubell said that Harrison is going. That has to be attractive perk.

So now that the extra scholarship has opened up, how about we go after a JUCO center instead of someone (guy who signed with Hawaii) who is the exact same mold as about 3-4 of our current players (perimeter shooter). Here is a list of JUCO centers available who haven't been signed...we need one!

He has family in Hawaii. His grandpa is famous there.

All I see on this list are high school kids, class of 2012. Is there another list I'm missing?
