Still no BYU offer. Wonder why.

Apparently this Methodist steamroller from Euyless, TX (Trinity HS) originally liked BYU, UCLA, Cal, Michigan, TA&M and FSU. Now he is reported to have narrowed the group down to three. Utah and UCLA are rumored to be two of the three.

It's too bad we aren't on that list. He would have been a great addition. Does he have family in Utah? If not why are they even on the list?

Sounds like it is UCLA.

TBS reporting that we just offered him. UCLA is a mess but it means a slot has opened up. Wonder why however I hope to get him.

This is the news article from ESPN that states his top three: USC, UT, BYU. he visited UT in December, the Y last week, and has yet to visit USC. Seems to me he has lots of competition for schollies at USC whereas it probably comes down to comfortability with coaches, players and school at either UT or the Y.

Talo Stevens just tweeted that Lutui has narrowed his choices down to BYU and USC. The Utes are now not a consideration.

I would think USC would have the inside track. I hope I'm wrong. USC campus is downtown L.A. in a crap-hole environment. My brother went to USC. I would never choose that campus. What a crappy area.



I hope BYU pulls this off. It would be a huge get.

USC is lacking schollies. Too expensive to walkon.
