Or Lavell's face or Jimmer's silhouette. I'm still down with geting an official sponsor, money for the ads (which must be nationally recognized companies, no small/local business) can pay for future LES renovations/improvements.

But our D will minimize use of the endzones, and our QB can place the ball in around the edges to protect it's condition.





Oh, we could pull a yewt and "borrow" other's traditions. Instead of AZs "bear down" I think BYU should add "Team Down South" during rivalry week.

From what I've heard they're planning on unveiling the new plans for LES and the MS at the Stadium of Fire thing this summer.

I think we should go with colored field turf. We could have a white field with blue lines between the 20s and in the endzone, and then a blue field with white lines inside the 20 or the "blue" zone.!

It was too much effort to turn the field white between the 20s so I went with a lighter (Royal) blue.

anyone else notice how pathetically NOT blue the crowd is. . . Anything we can do to get people to actually wear the color of the team to games?

My question is what do we do with the leftover MWC team flags that used to adorn the stadium along the top of the endzone seating.



How about a huge bonfire? You could raffle off who gets to throw in the Puke flag. Heck, after the ungracious response we got from many of our former conference brothers, I don't think a tear will be shed to throw any of them into the blaze.

Too much like Boise. I find it ironic how much we made fun of Boise and their blue field on here and now we're suddenly mocking up images of what our field would look like blue.



A green field with blue endzones, a nice Y in the center and maybe a big-league sponsor in the corners. Perfect.

I think the blue field idea is something of a joke. I wouldn't really want to see it.

Yes, change the color fans wear to white. White "pops," it stands out. The deepest shade of royal blue doesn't.

I heard that Bronco and Holmoe were thinking about doing something like this. Taking a page out of Penn State's book and having the students "White-out" the student section. Of course that would involve actually creating a legit student section and that might irk some of the old blue-wigs of the cougar club. . . we'll see.

Here's an idea, keep the natural grass, kick off the MWC logos, get rid of sponsors, just white lines, numbers, and maybe a bluish endzone.



Keep it pristine. Don't do it like rice chex or bronco stadium.

While you are at it take the Allstate logo and Credit Union logo off of the field goal nets...

They are implementing the new "unified" student section next year. I don't think it will irk the blue-hairs though, as they will be moving the students from the prime East front rows and putting them in the South East corner. This will give them plenty of chance to sell these prime sideline seats for major $$.

No entirely blue fields, nothing like BS. Just endzone's, and the centered Y.



If any changes are made however, it would be for constant blue/white outs or some kind of fan pattern, white out fans, blue out students or something.



Blue wearing has got lots better at least.

It's cause navy doesn't really pop, it would look a lot better if we went back to royal.
