First step in repentance

I just returned from a 7 night cruise to the Caribbean. I missed the Naismith award and the NCAA Finals.

As I was touring an island, a fellow cruiser saw my BYU hat. She said "We are Ute fans but we love Jimmer."

I responded "well if you love Jimmer you may have taken the first step in repenting of being a UTE fan."

Were they overcome with true joy of knowing there was hope in spite of their sins?
