DesMar Jackson is a solid 2-3 and M'baye is the type of low post 4 that we don't normally have... both coming off the bench as juniors and competing for starting positions as seniors would be really nice.



Is Heath Shroyer at the top of the list if Dave Rice leaves and is he at the top of the list because he can bring 2 solid D1 players with him? not sure



Provided these two have what it takes to live the honor code, they would have to sit out a year and could then be tremendous help in building depth to continue the top 20 type Cougar teams.

after next season, we lose abouo, anderson, and hartsock... jackson and m'baye would be solid replacements for the production we'd lose.



we're currently looking at jordan chatman, jordan loveridge and we get back Haws from a mission so this couldn't happen if we get committments from the "jordans" unless zylstra, martineau, winder, or heaven forbid, Davies lose their scholarships or leave.



zylstra and martineau are not D1 players and I would love to see them find other places to finish their careers, much like Shawn Oponui and Jake Crisman did at BYU-H.

Why not? Schroyer could use a few years at a winning program.

Schroyer makes a lot of sense if Rice gets hired and there's that possibility that jackson and m'baye would be in play. Both would definately give us nice depth and athleticism, provided they could live the honor code. they both have 3 to play 2 and would have to sit out the 11-12 season, the trick is that they'd likely be chosing their next team soon and we don't have a ton of available scholarships unless Rose finally makes a decision on Zylstra/Martineau's futures.



Complete and utter speculation but they played for Schroyer and left when he left. Shroyer was once our 1st asst and obviously has been recruiting for Wyoming inb the meantime; I'm starting to believe that he has the leg up on the job if Rice gets the UNLV gig.
