So In Lubbock (same ward with recent BYU DB grad)my wife attended a bunko group at a ute "fans" home. In their kids bedroom was a large poster that said: "Max Hall Hates Me"



Why put that in a 2 year old's room? That's equivalent to some propaganda seen in North Korea, Germany, and Russia. As a BYU fan yes I dislike utah. But I'm smart and reasonable enough to know there are many great things that come from the hill. I know Max ranted on about how poorly he and his family were treated by ute fans, and that may not represent them as a whole.





But as a student of child development, I can promise you the best way to get your sons interested in certain teams is to enhance "positive experiences" and minimize negative experiences. My problem with this ute fan is he thinks the best way to garner his son to being a ute is filling him with hate of BYU. Filling him with hate is ridiculous, and supports the theory that ute "fans" are actually just Y haters.





ute "fans" should also realize they have bigger fish to fry in the pac10.2 don't they? My guess is that they aren't aware of the shift of attention.



In my home, my boys are BYU fans because they will grow up loving BYU, watching BYU, wearing BYU blue, and rather than being taught to hate a team, they'll be taught to love a team.



That's what real "fans" do.

This explains a lot those die hard FrUtes out there. When they were taught about Utah, they most likely were taught to hate one BYU. Then they will train their maggots to hate on BYU too!

One nice thing is that they only come out every now and again. BYU fans are fans for lYfe, so they are easier to spot out here.

Ute fans will all be back in the closet in 2 more yers. Hoops is dead, and football is on its way to solid mediocrity. Trust me, while we continue to win 10+ games, and they get 7 or so, we will get use dto hearing about how awesome hte PAC-12 is, when they were all ripping it just last year. Will be funny.

I'm no ute-lover, but I dont see them doing too badly in the PAC 10.2. I should say in football, because bball for them is a mess and appears it will stay that way for he foreseeable future. But in football, they have a solid foundation, good coaches (BYU trained for the most part) and they seem to get a lot out of the players they get. Will I be sad if they fall flat on their faces? No way, but I just don't see them being the doormats of the PAC.

The Utes could actually win their division next year. USC is ineligible to win it. UCLA is awful. Colorado is atrocious. Arizona St is mediocre and Arizona is decent. The Utes can easily win three of those games. Then they just need to split USC/Arizona and win two games against the other division and they're playing for the first ever PAC12 championship.

Yea but you can theoretically play in a CCG at 3-9 most likely 6-6. 0-3 all OCC games lost 0-4 all inter divisional games lost 3-2 tie for division champ. Wow. . . just realized 2 division conferences are retarded you could end up with a 4-9 champ. :gross:

AQ loss in conference = conference is deep and challenging :sick:
