Tanner Mangum Analysis

"Eagle High School (Idaho) quarterback Tanner Mangum has committed to the Brigham Young Cougars, per totalbluesports.com. Mangum has nice measurables (6’3”, 195 lbs.) and is rated the #19 quarterback overall in the 2012 class by Scout.com.



"While Mangum can be counted as a good catch for BYU, he has some work to do if he is going to become a great BYU quarterback."

I like that he creates completions with his feet. Several of the play's in the highlight video looked to be done but ended up being completions because he was mobile and was able to scramble.

Nice pick up for BYU.
