It just seems the Utes cannot field a major sport team withtout a former BYU coach heading the program.

Nice looking press release (If it wasn't April 1st). I'd laugh hysterically if Utah signed Reid to a 9 year contract.

I can't believe that. I was just joking this morning with a co-worker and I said, "watch them go get Roger Reid" and I was totally joking because I thought there was no way. An advid Ute fan here in the office said he's switching to BYU if that's true. He can't stand Reid.



This has to be an April Fools joke.

It is a joke, in fact I know the guy that created the press release.

Well the April 1st date, the salary that is ten or twenty times his current salary, and the 9-year contract kind of give it away - but Reid may actually be a better coach than whomever the Utes actually end up with.



On antoher April 1st note, I got a survey from Tom HOlmoe today asking me what sources I visit to get my BYU SPorts news and how often I go there. Cougar Corner was not listed as an option - so I typed it in under other. I made it #1 on my list. In return - I am still hoping someonen flips some kind of a switch that will enable me once again to respond to email notificatoins on my iPhone. It worked fine until about 3 weeks ago and ha sno tworked since. It says I tried ot many times an dhave ben locked out and asks me to type in a Captchcka but dpoe snot provide one - and typing in Bronco or Mendenhall or Bronco Mendenhall does not work and it only allows typing 8 charactuers anway.



I know somene will complain about this being on the basketball forum - but it remains unanswered over on the Admin forum.
