Kruger to OU, Rice to UNLV?

I realize that it's April Fool's Day, so I hope this isn't part of an elaborate joke, but The Oklahoman is saying Lon Kruger will accept the OU job:

Nevada-Las Vegas coach Lon Kruger is expected to accept the Oklahoma coaching job today, according to multiple sources.

UNLV would be crazy not to go hard after Dave Rice. What are the chances he returns to his alma mater?

Lets hope very low.

Yeah, I think there's a very good chance Rice takes this opportunity.

As I would hate to see him go, I'll never be disturbed if someone wants to go back to their alma mater--except KW after he turned traitor on the blue and white.



The only downside I see it that he'll be recruiting in our same area, and while I like our chances regardless, it's always just a bit more of a challenge when you have a coach that can go, "Now let me REALLY tell you about BYU." Hopefully Rice wouldn't be one of those low lifes, and I believe he wouldn't, but I would rather see him farther away in a HC position.

IF we lose Rice, we need to raid Morril's staff, and get his guy who works with big men.

I will be honest, I really hope we don't lose rice. I think he deserves a lot of the credit for byu's recent success.

I still can't believe that the Utes haven't made a run at Rice.
