It was all my fault.

I let the team down, I let CC down, I let Jimmer down.



I have faithfully watched every game I could since the first of the year and in close games, BYU has always won. I am afraid I was unable to watch most of the game due to an unexpected emergency. Had I watched the game in full and participated in chat, I know BYU would have scored one more point in regulation and would have scored 1 point more than FL did against Butler in regulation in the E8 game.



I've been in mourning ever since.



That said, the team still exceeded my expectations and it was a magical season even if I feel it ended way too soon. Given the way other teams have played that are in the F4, BYU is just as good as any of them.



I can't wait for next season.

And to think, this whole time I thought it was the refs' fault.



Well, glad we got that settled.

I knew there was something wrong with blaming the refs!

Actually, it was my son's mission president's fault. My son has not ever seen Byu lose (basketball or football). Unfortunately, he missed the game, something about immersing himself in the work or some such thing. First, the football season and now this. Well, at least we were blessed with The Jimmer.

I thought it was my fault. Every time I wore my BYU sweat pants the cougars won. I wore my BYU hat & shirt, but I forgot the sweat pants that Thursday. I wore those pants for 24 games, and we won every one of those.



Glad to share the blame however--it makes me feel a little better. ;)
