Not foul, but expose him, he had only 20 points vs AZ, their team should have lost, he is not a pro player, just cover LAMB and KEMBA and UCONN has no one.

Good strategy. I'm surprised no one has thought about covering Kemba so far this season.

Did you watch the AZ game ? the person guarding him, let him get open all the time, they almost never double teamed him, and when they did, they took the guy OFF OF LAMB, and let Lamb get wide open, Uconn has a Good player in Walker, and Lamb, but other then those 2 they suck, they had WAY to many open shots vs AZ.



TL DR.



Az lost because they only covered Walker OR Lamb, when they covered both, UConn did NOTHING, Kemba and Lamb 39 out of 65 points, vs SDSU they had 60 out of Uconns 74 points.

I wholeheartedly agree. Lamb is the most efficient player on Uconn, and one of the most efficient players i've ever seen in the NCAA tourney;

if we had a forward like him, we'd be national champions this year. He'd be the guy I'd pick to build a team around on their squad.



Kemba is solid but he can be shut down with tight D.. but not when they have guys like Lamb that you cannot leave alone for a second.



Kemba didn't do Zona like Jimmer did Zona... not even close.

Kemba is a poor outside shooter, I'll take my chances with him beating me from the outside.



He's a career .330 3pt shooter. He shot .339 this year. And since UConn went on their run nine games ago (starting with the Big East tourney) he's shot 12-45 (.266). I'll take my chances with not guarding him. He made zero or one three-pointers in 15 games this year (Jimmer had six, Kemba had six where he made zero - include four in his last nine games).



Where Kemba kills you is at the FT line. In this run he's been to the line 90 times. In Jimmer's last nine games he went to the line 72 times.



What I would do is let Kemba shoot, limit his drives and guard the other guys. Use the UF gameplan on Jimmer, make him a jumpshooter, because he's tired of getting hit going to the rim.

Kemba loves himself a little too much. i think he has delusions of grandeur. yes you are good kemba, but not half as good as you think. if he won poy it would be a travesty. i don't think he does.

how did this turn into Kemba bashing? It should be a celebration of Jimmer's significant award, and I don't mean the one from Italy either.



Congrats to Jimmer on both honors. Oscar Robertson was a tremendous player both collegiately and professionally, it's quite an honor to be associated with him.

I agree. This is the first BYU player to ever win the award. This is a big deal!

The other cool thing about the award breakfast:

The legendary University of Houston "Phi Slama Jama" teams will also be honored on Friday morning.

So Jimmer and Coach Rose will both be featured participants.
