Even though Jimmer's #32 can't be retired for at least 15 years, should anyone wear it again before it is officially retired?

You would have to have some major cajones to come into BYU and put on the #32.

Why would somebody need some major box-shaped percussion instruments originally from Peru which are played by slapping the front face (generally thin plywood) with the hands.

If you're going to retire it, then retire it. If you're not, then other kids should be able to wear it. I don't expect a kid who's three or four right now to remember who Jimmer is or what he did this season.

Guarantee you 5 years from now some guard from Utah or Arizona will show up wearing #32 having been inspired by The Jimmer. It will be like #23 for a bit where every overly confident Mormon shooting guard will show up wearing it.

BYU is seen as very rigid, and they are. There are times when BYU should be rigid (e.g. morals, faith) but there are times they should not be rigid (e.g. indy, espn, $$). This is one of those times they should grab life by the balls and Jimmer the MC with a huge 32. And another great stat.
