Two plays that will haunt me for some time...

Abuou's decison to continue that break and go for the layup and not pull back and Collinsworth's missed free throw. I feel like we should have won this one and were the better team.

My wife doesn't like me today because she kept "getting in my bidness" trying to watch the game. Now I have to deal with a Y loss that could've easily been a win, and apologize for days now. Hell, I might as well get a job offer from the mtn now as well (hell?)

I agree with the Abouo mistake and the missed free throw, but I will never forget the fact that we did not get the rebound off the missed three with 10 seconds left. We had time outs, could have drawn something up. Argh...but oh well, it is what it is. Good season Cougs!!

^^^ this. Can't believe BYU didn't get that rebound at the end. All the missed layups. The fact that towards the end of the game BYU had outrebounded florida 11-6 on the offensive glass and still couldn't come up with points.

Another play that haunts me is the possession where BYU got about 3 offensive rebounds consecutively, just to see Hartsock get bulled over on his 3 point attempt without a foul call. So much energy expended on that possession, and we got nothing for it.

Would give anything to have the last 5 min of the 2nd half to play over again. Between Jimmer jacking up 3s when he's been missing them all night, Jimmer turning the ball over, Emery missing a rebound off a free throw, Abouo missing a layup and not securing a rebound with 14 seconds left we deserved to lose. That was sloppy ball.



We were one possession, one basket away. We had the stops, but couldn't capitalize.

Serious man. Any remedy for not getting so freaking emotionally invested in a girl that all of a sudden decides not to reciprocate? Pretty much the same thing. Unfortunately, I had both happen to me yesterday...needless to say, it's been a rough 24 hours to say the least. :~(

The girl situation is easy. Find another one. Every pot has it's lid. You'll find a pot that appreciates the emotional investment.

Missing the lay-up on the opening possession. This always gives me a precursor of what is to come. Hated it. The Jimmer charge was a joke. He tried to split the two defenders (which he did) and the dude he charges into was not hit near the center of the chest, but rather in the leg which was extended. I didn't know you could extend your arms and legs and get a charging foul....ridiculous!

Truly. That was an obvious blocking foul. Hated it.
