SI curse.

Finally caught up.

Yup, BYU is a good enough team to escape the curse. But with Jimmer being on the cover for two straight weeks, we were doomed.

I blame the badly timed 3's from 5 feet behind the line on the SI curse.

I blame Jimmer's gimp calf on the SI curse.

He'd better get used to it if he wants to play in the NBA, the bastion of no-calls. I remember a game a few years ago where Steve Nash had stitches during a time-out and then played the rest of the game against San Antonio with his eye swollen completely shut. No call in that one either.

Jimmer might do better in the NBA. While there are plenty of no calls in the Association, the amount of contact that is allowed is less. You can't handcheck like you can in college. Jimmer will also be surrounded by better teammates. Even if he went to a place like Minnesota.

My wife came in for the end of the game and was shocked by the abuse being allowed on the Jimmer. I had to explain to my young sons that although such play is usually a foul, the officials decided not to call it in this game, thereby increasing the physical play.....
