Florida St. - ND: Another possible upset in the making...

Don't look now but it seems another Big East team might be going down tonight. with 3 minutes left in the first, ND trails Florida St. 32-19.

Don't Jinx it!!!

Number 1 reason there won't be a football tournament: it will expose the overall weakness of the SEC just like the basketball tourney exposes the big east.

The Big East is lucky they got to play themselves in the second round (read: got way more teams than they deserved in) otherwise they might not have any teams left at all.

2010 - 2011 big east = the most over rated conference in the history of forever. Hopefully the NCAA selection committee took notes and starts punishing even the mighty big east teams if they play and/or beat no one ooc.

Eleven teams? How many teams total in the Big Least? And Utah State was called a bubble team for that end---- to get 11 Big Least teams in?

I stuck up for the Big East a few weeks ago. I was dead wrong.



Aside from whether or not Big East teams are good, I don't know why they get so much airtime. Big East basketball is NOT FUN TO WATCH. Period. It's low-scoring, foul-heavy, slow-paced; half the guys on the court look like they've never bothered learning how to take a jump shot, etc. It's the perfect antithesis of BYU basketball. (I guess some people prefer slow, slash-and-burn basketball to uptempo teams - I'll never understand why.)



Makes sense that UConn is one of the two teams still in it - Kemba Walker is seriously the only entertaining thing about the conference at the moment.
