Tonight's Team, My Friends, Was A Final Four Team

Led by their star, everyone played well--even Anderson blocked Sacre a couple of times! That was as good as they have played...The @SDSU game might have been a tad better because it was in such a hostile environment, but tonight was without Brandon.

I give the game ball to Rose. He got them believing and prepared to beat Gonzaga.

Very good point--actually Rose won the coaching battle tonight too..he mixed the defense up, managed the big men's foul troubles, and called the right time outs. Gonzaga did not play bad tonight at all. We just played a whole lot better and beat them by 22

Great point!! Dave Rose was "The Man" tonight! He got the TEAM playing like a TEAM!!!!!!

What a sweet victory - a historical victory!! That is NOT an overstatement!

Amen to that! Dave Rose has been, not just an awesome coach, but an uncannily gifted and prescient coach. Jimmer has shown up as we knew he would. But Rose really got Logan going in that opener game, and he got Kyle and Steve jazzed for this one. Somehow, he kept Abouo's enthusiasm and athleticism going without losing him early to fouls (though Charles did get his first two in the opening few minutes and sat for a while). Also, Noah stayed out of serious foul trouble, which was huge. And then James Anderson! He was actually a force and a presence. Yeah, Coach Rose truly was able to wring out everything this team had to give. He got them pumped up for it, wanting it and believing in it.
