BYULVI think we may have a loophole for the Davies suspension. When they say Davies is suspended for the rest of the season did they mean our usual season that ends after the first round of the NCAA tournament? I'm sure the players signed the honor code with that length of season in mind since a BYU team has not advanced past the first weekend, at least not since their infancy. If we somehow win on Saturday I would argue we are starting a new season, a new era for BYU basketball. This would be the perfect time for a fresh start, a new beginning. The perfect chance to give Brandon Davies his renewed chance at BYU. By then Justice will be satisfied as he would have sat out more than the "rest of the season" and mercy will be shown to Davies (and to all of us). This will be a chance to show the world how repentance, forgiveness and returning to the fold can happen. What a boon for missionary work and for the church. I hope BYU doesn't miss this great opportunity to bless humanity by letting Brandon Davies back into the fold next week.
