Actually there is not much doubt about this most years and there would be a little more doubt this year if davies was still playing and we were 32-2 and ranked #3 and a #1 seed - but I digress.

Definitely basketball especially since Bronco has not scheduled any practices today or tomorrow because of the basketball team and out of respect to Rose.



This is a top 10 team, something that's worth celebrating. BYU is finally becoming a top 10 program in both sports. BYU should/will be known for both sports.

Basketball - of course. This is a special year & a very special team - even with the Brandon Davies mis-step.

Non-Sequiter. Title of thread doesn't match survey.

Majority of even "football first" fans are more interested in bball today this weekend.

But in an off-seasonally adjusted survey, football wins.

In a comparison of school year (football 2010 bball 2011) ya hopefully and probably bball wins.

But calander year, as soon as hoops is over, hands down football will win, bc bball will be down in october 2011.

I thought that the title had a typo.... It should read "Football School AND Basketball School" ;)

BINGO. We are fortunate to have 2 great programs right now, notwithstanding our rebuild year in football. And match these successes with our other successful minor teams and the athletic dept is doing pretty darn well.

I attended BYU during the Cosic years and the Marriott Activities Center as it was called back then was filled and rockin. BYU had been and still was a basketball school until after I graduated. Lavell Edwards changed all of that and BYU became a football school with decent basketball.



I love it when both sports are rockin, but BYU clearly remains tilted towards football most of the time - but not today and probably not Saturday.
