Bags under his eyes

James Taft Fredette was jsut interviewd on TV from Denver. He seemed to have bags under his eyes. I hope he's following a schedule like his roomate from the USA team mentioned.



One item to knit pick at. I hope Jimmer finds a good speech coach that will teach him away from saying "Um" all the time. He's got so much class, but if he were to cease to say "Um" every few words, it would polish up his interview presence considerably.

A "nit" is a small egg of a louse that can be picked off, thus the saying "nit-pick". I don't think it really has anything to do with knitting. ;)



I hope he's well rested as well. He looked completely worn-out Saturday night, with very few smiles. I'm hoping to see the smiles back tonight!

I don't know "nit", but this may or may not be a good data point. We'll see. Interview was in the morning, right?

Did he stay up late completing a paper? Is he sick? Did the team get in late?

I would predict a slow start tonight for jimmer, hopefully getting all his teammates involved, and then start to warm up in the 2nd half and explode in 2nd game or as needed if we are not winning the game tonight.

Good catch. sometimes I type too fast. My wife does a lot of "knit" picking.

I hope he takes his bags all the way to Houston!

Doesn't matter for this game. He can have a super average game, and we win it easy.



I'm just hoping that they win decisively so our bench can play. Oh wait! We don't have a bench!

My wife's brother lives in Houston and we're going to go "visit" if BYU makes it there.

I only got to see the last 9 minutes. Most of Jimmer's shots were short. Even missed a layup. Still got his 32, but what's the verdict? Did he look tired? Short shots are a sign of tired legs.

So, is he "super-tired" such that we won't likely see a "great game" saturday? Or. Just tired from last week and still trying to get back. Again, hard to see anything wrong with 32 points.

Just asking.

His percentage could have been a lot better IMO.



As a whole... Our 3 pt percentage stunk. I cringed every time we threw up a 3 AND every time when they shot one too.
