Obama giving us some love

Obama's bracket has us going to the Sweet 16. He said with Davies we could take Florida in a close game, but withoutht that inside precense we loose. Thanks for the love Mr. Presidnet.

Y'all know me, I am a Conservative, with a CAPITAL "C" but I am sick of everyone bashing Obama about filling out a bracket, he does not spend hours and hours doing it, his staff fills out to the sweet 16, and he goes from there, he even talked about Japan.



Yes I would rather he be "fixing" our problem of Debt, BUT with the FIX"S he has, I would rather him watch BBALL all day long till 2012.

I think he's way off with Kansas. Everytime I've ever picked Kansas they always disappoint me. If I was a betting man, I'd have lost my shirt picking Kansas in the past.

Anything that distracts Obama from making policy, I support! :D

Although, he has the essential detail for byu's progression. BD. So he knows at least that even if he was staffed on that. Good for him

And yes, I would prefer he does less to mess.

He could have done them while he was playing golf last weekend. Or maybe he could have had them hold up the games and done his brackets while on vacation in Rio next weekend. The only good thing with him playing so much golf (61 rounds as Pres) and taking so many vacations is that it takes away from his time to come up with more ways to impose socialism. Btw has anyone told him how bad it is in Japan, Egypt, or Lybia? But as his mouthpiece said, Japan's problem is not an american problem so he's going to Rio.

Can we give the president a break? How long does it take to fill out a bracket? 15 minutes? How long does it take to shoot a segment on ESPN showing his bracket? An hour? Let's not pretend like everyone can't find an hour or so once a year to do something they enjoy doing (filling out and talking about their bracket).

Imua, if George W had predicted BYU would make it to the sweet 16, I would not have bagged on his vacations and all (he had his share too...) I'd say wow! For once he and I agree on something! We can build on this! Oh well Peace out to my friends on the other side of the political equation. Oh and for the record I think Obama got it wrong...we are going to the Final Four!

He could join the Church for all I care, which would be the best decision in his life, but I still ain't votin' for him next year.

Regardless of feelings towards any particular president, it is kind of neat that the President of the U.S. knows about Jimmer and also about BYU's honor code.



On the other hand (and not to make light of the situation), but now Brandon Davies knows that even the President of the United States knows about the honor code situation from this season. Thankfully, he is already working with those with much more authority than any world leader to get his life back on track.

W took far less vacations, never took a 5000 person contingent on vacation, and played almost no golf. On Saturday after his round of golf he had to run back to the white house and hurridly get ready because he was going to address the Japanese people and give them encouragement...opps my bad actually he had to get back because he was having another party. this guy is about as presidential as my cat. He is living like a royal, telling us not to go on vacation then going himself all the while trying to find ways to destroy this country. He may have grown up in Hawaii but I sure put no claim on him! And for those who say "he isn't trying to destroy the country" I have one question, if you were in his shoes and wanted to bring this country down what would you do different than what he is doing? When is that second coming thing?

The President gives some love to BYU and you want to politicize the matter? Amazing. If you want to talk about the President and how bad he is in your eyes, take it to the Lounge. I do not get why you want to pollute a fun March Madness thread involving BYU with yuor political views. And for the record, in his eight years in office, President Bush took over 500 days of vacation and that does not include the 480+ days taken at Camp David. At present, President Obama is not averarging those sorts of numbers.
