Running game has been largely idle to-date. I think there are two reasons for this (a) quick whistles have been mentioned in all practice reports (Quick whistles both protect players, but also make them hungrier---nothing gets you eager to hit someone than having play after play blown dead just before you can knock someone's block off) and those quick whistles prevent YAContact; and (b) Bronco is a LOT more concerned about stopping the run than the guy who was running last year's D. I'm not worried about the running game. We know who we have back there and what they can do based on last year. Working against a run-game-oriented defense Spring/Summer/Fall can only be a positive for these guys.
