BYU-Wofford 5 PM MDT on CBS

We got THE prime slot on Thursday. We are playing the only game on the CBS network at prime-time on the East Coast.



Respect from the selection committee (#3 in a bracket that feels more like a #2 seed) and respect from CBS giving the Cougs and a 3-14 matchup prime billing.



Having the Jimmer is good.

What session (tickets) is this in? I'm trying to figure what what tickets to buy?

BYU is the first game of the second session.

All 67 tournament games will be shown in their entirety this year. There will be no breaking away to other games. If you want to see the ending of different games, you'll have to change the station.



Another feature this year is that the games will be staggered more so 3 games won't all be ending at the same time.

I hope they do break away from games. I'd hate to be stuck with some blowout when there is a game going down to the wire.

I read somewhere that the announcers will just tell viewers when another game is close at the end, and tell them what channel it's on.

I felt the same way. The way the team is now constituted would not have earned a 3 seed and my guess in the committee knew it but respected jimmer and what byu had done all year.



also to be honest i think aside from teh second round matchup, being in the southeast bracket with a three seed looks better than the west one seed. that bracket has a lot more qulality teams that duke is going to have to go through. for byu if they beta st joes or gonzaga they have a much easier way to the elite eight than duke does in my opinion.



very favorable 3 seed in my opinion. florida is the worst of all the two seeds and wisconsin is a weak 4 seed as well. With Davies I think we cruise to the elite 8 where we have a good shot and taking pitt down. We still have a good shot at getting there but our guys are going to have to be shooting well to compensate for a relatively weak and thin front court.

"Relatively weak and thin front court"? Johnny, not sure you needed to hedge so much.

But I guess if you are comparing ours to Wofford's maybe you were adding some perspective. ;-)
