Romney Fuga

I heard from a friend in California - turns out he knows Romney Fuga's family quite well - Fuga is recovering / progressing well and did receive a medical hardship year from the NCAA. Maybe this is all old news. Either way - it is good news.

Should have received more than a "medical hardship". He also should have received an allowance to kick John W. Benders in the nuts every day of the year for the rest of his life. That hit and run b@stard. (I'm still a little sore about the subject...)

Every time I see a topic like this, just a players name, I automatically think "now what?", expecting to read about a suspension or injury or transfer rumors. Nice to read something positive.

Fuga is definitely out for Spring, but my friend who knows his family expects him to play in the Fall. It would not surprise me if they have him skip contact drills in Fall camp.

I've heard the same from a fellow D-Lineman--he's doubtful for Fall practices. Even with a good recovery, that injury takes about a year to get to a full recovery, and especially with a fellow his size.
