More Embarassing

What would be more embarassing?:



Having lost today to TCU and probably ending up with a 4 seed



or



Getting a 2 seed, then losing to a 15 seed?



Based on how we are playing, if we get a hot 15 seed we will probably lose. We'll be better off matching up with a big conference team that doesn't belong there, vs a really good small conference team that just didn't get respect in the seeding.

Based on how we are playing? Didn't we score one of our best halfs in history just last Saturday? Was that game on a different planet or in my dreams? No. I think if we play like we did just three periods ago, we'll be fine.

The TCU team that played yesterday and today would beat a 15 seed, easily.

What seed would South Florida be?



What seed would Buffalo be?



What seed would Weber State be?



We lost or struggled to win or couldn't pull away from these teams.



None of those teams are going to be in the tournament, yet could we lose to them today, or 5 periods ago, if Fredette and Emery don't shoot well? Absolutely.



A 15 seed could very well be a lot better than those teams.



Minus Davies, BYU is not a legitimate 1 or 2 seed. We might still get the 2 seed anyway.

Thank you wickchad for proving that the NCAA is all about matchups. If you get a good one, you advance. If you get a bad one, no matter you seed, it's going to be difficult to advance.

Actually, this is a fair enough question. I will take the 1 or 2 seed every time though - but thanks for asking.

Mississippi Valley State lost to Georgia Southern who is 5-27 on the year. What seed would Georgia Southern be?
