I need proof

that with the loss of Davies we haven't just fallen from the third best team in the country, to the fifth best team in the MWC. And I'm totally serious. Does anybody feel like we could beat CSU, UNM, UNLV or SDSU right now? Jimmer, are you there? Help thou mine unbelief.

Yep. Same BYU team as every year in the tournament. We played scared today. We will lose tomorrow if we play anywhere near that bad.

Yeah, there's no question we've reverted to the jump shooting team of every season that goes cold in the tourney and gets trounced. However, we're not 5th place bad as long as we have Jimmer. But because there are no points in the paint to be had we will get blown away by someone eventually. Although there is an outside chance our 2nd round game is a cupcake...I don't think anyone would complain if we made it to the Sweet 16 now. That is a reasonable expectation considering our personnel losses this season.

We shot 26% from 3pt land. That on its own should indicate to you that we had a very off day shooting. Especially since TCU ran a lot of zone. If we hit the season average we blow them away. It was an off day shooting. nuff said. NEXT!!!!

Well this game sealed it for me after all. I think we've got a chance since we've proven our mental toughness. Jimmer simply willed us to victory and that is what the big dance is ALL about. It helped to have Gary out of there, but we probably had that game either way. Excellent game and Jimmer is the truth!
