BYU #8 in Both Polls 3/7/11

Not as far as I thought....but still an ugly slide. Makes you wonder if a #2 seed is doable?

I think BYU still controls their seeding. Get to the MWC finals and that should be enough for a 2 seed.

I would love a SDSU vs BYU rematch, just to show them, ANYWHERE, ANYTIME, WE WILL OWN YOU!

If someone told me at the beginning of the year that BYU would finish top ten and would get a 2 seed I'd be floored, so I'm not going to cry about this.



It does hurt when you consider what could have been though.

Anyone else like wth @ UNC, and ND jumping so much ? UNC beat #4 at home, and jumps 7 spots ?

I'm ok with the 8 spot. Teams in front will lose. BYU needs to make the final to secure a 2 seed. If they win it by beating UNM and SDSU, they can still have an outside shot at a number 1, depending on what other teams do.

I am totally cool with a 2 seed. A 1 seed would have to beat a 2 seed to get to the final 4 anyway (If there were no upsets)

two seed is possible, but i think we have to win the championship to e honest. if we had not lost davies and then lsot in the championship i think we get a two seed with ease, but without him they are going to be a little more critical. i see us getting a three or four assuming we don't get blown out by csu or new mexico again.

If we win the tourny we get a 2 seed. If we dont, I think the best we can hope for is a 4 seed. I think the 3 seed is completely off the table.

We do well in the Las Vegas Invitational and I think a 2 seed is doable. I don't think we get worse than a 4 seed this year.

I think we still have a shot at a 3. If we make it to the MWC playing SDSU and lose a close one I think we'd still have a shot at a 3 seed. We may only get a 3 seed if we win out due to perception of our team without Davies
