So, where do the Cougs end up in the rankings

So, what do ya think? Where do we end up in the polls tomorrow with our loss to the Lobos, our thrashing of the Cowboys and our loss of Davies? Does the loss of Davies have an affect on the voting? Interested in everyone's guess as to where we end up. :)

I think we drop more than we should from the loss, because of the loss of Davies. It will change the perception of the voters, just like it has changed the perceptions of the people on this forum. :~(

#7 or #8. Duke and Purdue lost in the top 10, but I see Pitt, Texas and Notre Dame jumping us. If people have half a mind, then we are #7 behind those 3, but ahead of SDSU that we beat twice, convincingly.

Yep. I have a hard time believing that Duke passes us. They aren't even the best team in the ACC lately. ND will pass us for sure. I think we could end as high is 5 or 6, and as low as 11.



As long as we don't drop out of the 15 (and there is no way we will) it'll be one of our highest seedings that we have ever had, and I'll still take that. Provided, that we win at least one or two games in the conf tourney, and hopefully win one or two in the national. I am not very optimistic about our chances even against CSU or UNM, but the Jimmer can prove me wrong anyday!

I could see UNC getting a huge bump. I mean, we can't have a top 5 without an ACC team, can we? That's against the rules isn't it?

#9. The combo of losing Davies and then getting punked by 20 on our home-court by a team that was 5-7 on the road coming in (with losses to Utah, Wyoming, and Dayton among the seven losses) will give the voters plenty of reasons to shuttle us down the boards.



#10 wouldn't surprise me either. Yeah, we beat down WYO, but so did UNC (as in University of Northern Colorado), UNF, UCI, SDAK, and GB. I have very little confidence in Saturday's win doing must to arrest a free-fall in the polls.

I agree with this. While people seem to have fallen in love with byu this year the story has been they lost davies and got killed by a piece of crap team at home. I am expecting 9.
