NCAA DI Football playoff

So really I need something else to read than what is in the basketball forum right now.



Mark Emmert, NCAA President says he would be happy to help with a football playoff at the expiration of the BCS contract in 2014. BTW the NCAA makes $771,000,000 on the DI men's basketball tournament television contract and zero on the BCS so I'm sure Emmert foresees a big raise should he land a football tournament.



Personally I hope Emmert and the NCAA keep their grubby, greedy, monopolistic hands off a playoff and Cuban can get his rolling earlier than expected. He'll have 3-4 years to get his brand recognized depending whether he can come up with something this year or not.

Curios to see what becomes of Mark Cuban's little plan. You'd think that once he puts a package together than nets more $$$$ than the BCS plan, that we'll be moving very, very quickly to a playoff. I sure hope so. Screw the BCS!
