lfurrMost of the talk is about Davies, and rightfully so. But man, you really gotta feel bad for The Jimmer. He decides to come back for his senior year, has hopes and dreams for a season unlike any other, and now, last night with his face in his hands, sitting on the cougar bench, he was probably thinking "there go all my hopes and dreams of what I wanted to accomplish by coming back here for another year". Granted, he SHOULD still do fine in the draft, at least I certainly hope so after all of this, but still, he had stuff he wanted to accomplish before the NBA. This has all been such a bummer. I keep trying to tell myself it's only basketball, which is certainly true, but it's really so much more than that.
BYU is always having to prove itself, for one reason or another. And every time we get the chance to make our statement, something happens. I think THAT is the real reason most of us are so upset over all of this. There's always SOMETHING that screws it up for us. It's uncanny. Do you guys know what I mean? There's always SOMETHING.
