Every Single Year

I feel the worst for Brandon. He is now a 19 year old kid with the world on his shoulders. I can't imagine how I would survive that.



What hurts is that as a BYU fan since 1989, my freshman year after my mission, I have been huge fan of BYU football but couldn't buy into BYU basketball completely as they disappointed me every year. Either an HC violation that hurt the team somehow, or much more often they would disappear in the NCAA tourney when we all knew they should have won. Or just perform poorly during the regular season and not make it at all.



After Saturday's game I finally was all in after 23 seasons of being a BYU basketball fan. For the first time, I allowed myself to believe that things were different. After yesterday I realized the only difference between this year and any of the other 22 seasons, was my timing.



There is no way to spin it. You don't lose your most athletic post player, 3rd in scoring and 1st in rebounds and recover from it. No possible way to recover.



BYU went from a potential Final 4 team, to likely losing in the 2nd round, maybe the first.



Not sure I will ever be able to fully buy into BYU basketball again. I am all in for football, have been for 23 years, but BYU basketball just disappoints. They are really good at it.

Wrong attitute. We had a great year and the future looks good. Here is to hoping Davies is back for next season. Rose is still a great coach and a great recruiter.

This happens every year at BYU in many sports. It's unfortunate, but in the long run (if the gestapo doesn't screw it up) the players learn and move on.



There are few things that P me off about BYU (HC gestapo, Y bookstore "pretend shoppers", and the testing center SS) but in terms of season suspensions BYU shows upheld responsibility and class.



If Davies does come back he'll have an even greater experience as our team will be 'expected' to perform at top 10 levels each year. Get Reno talking to him please.

Chin up NC! When it comes to NCAA BB every team ends their season with a loss except one. Well two if you count the NIT. And. I guess if you really suck like TCU and don't even make it to your conference's tournament. Enjoy the ride while it lasts
