I like their take on BYU placing some thing higher than winning basketball games. Overall very positive for BYU and the honor code.

For once, a refreshing and supportive perspective from the national media. For me one of the disheartening aspects of this situation ( and in my opinion there are several), is the fact that there has been so much positive media attention to the university, the team, the individual players, the coaches, the community, the conference, etc. throughout this amazing run, and now in one 24 hour period all of that is placed on the back burner as this story takes center stage. I am one Cougar fan that hopes Coach Rose and the players can overcome the adversity of the moment and can get a win tonight and on Saturday and can continue a magical run through both the MWC and NCAA tournaments. This team has amazing senior leadership in Jackson and Jimmer and an ubercompetitive coach in Coach Rose. If anyone can turn this "lemon" of a situation into "lemonade" it is those 3 with the help of a great supporting cast. My thoughts and best wishes are also for Brandon to get his personal life in order and to have a very succesful future wearing the Cougar Blue. GO COUGARS!

He starts talking about BYU and Davies @ the 2min 25 sec mark.

BYU will be able to recover after losing forward Brandon Davies.

I love to hear the positive feed back from some in the media, but I feel like they are portraying Davies a bit poorly, almost like he is some sort of bad apple. If Davies was a bad apple he most likely would not have chosen to go to BYU and he certainly would not have made it through a year and a half without incident. He made a mistake and it needs to be corrected, and until it is, he can't play, but I think he is still a good kid.
