This week suddenly became VERY IMPORTANT

This is where the team has to show the nation they are still worthy of their #3 ranking despite losing davies. They need to whoop up on the Lobos by epic margins. They have to impress. Fortunately, they still have time to do that

at least we have two games for Davies replacement to earn some more team chemistry being the starter. I hope that UNM and Wyoming will be relatively easy games for us and we can figure things out.

More like 3 games. That first game in the MWC tourney will not be a very difficult opponent.

We just have to win to avoid dropping. We have to show we can play without him. If we go 2-0 this week, we'll stay at #3. Now, if drop the first game in the tourney, then we'll start to drop.

Agreed. This hurts our seeding more than our rank. The committee can use this to bump us down, while the polsters don't take these things into account for thier rankings.
