Poll is flawed. Elitists will vote against BYU whether they prefer Duke or Big East. Non elitists - have to split their vote between Duke and Big East. Neither ACC nor Big east fans want BYU getting a seed and SEC, Big 10 and Big 12 fans probably do not want it either - because if BYU gets in - it will be at the expense of one of those conferences. The Devil drew up this poll.



The CBS poll about whether BYU deserves a #1 seed does not have that flaw and BYU is ahead in that poll.

Perhaps we are missing a big point: all of the recent #1 seed polls and commentator discussions about BYU's worthiness or lack of worthiness, etc. are exciting to media types. They love controversy and seek to find the buttons to push it along. As a positive result, all of this brings BYU, Jimmer and the church into discussions, conversations and arguments nationwide. So we should love it as well.



Neither BYU or any other team can or should "win" all of these informal polls and pontifications. Yet we "win" everytime BYU is mentioned in these contexts.
