CougarClawLooks like an NFL lockout may be an inevitable thing. CNNMoney today reported that the NFL could survive a TWO year lockout if parties can't come to terms.
Peter King mentioned that the real deadline for negotiators is Aug 15. Lots of time to talk still, but it sounds like both sides positions are still very very far apart. Assuming the lockout occurs, what happens to BYU players?
1) Austin Collie gets another year or two without concussions to heal ad come back and play well. Maybe we'll see him around campus some more trading barbs with Ben Cahoon as to who's better.
2) Matt Reynolds plays 40% of the games then goes down with an "injury" and applies for Medical redshirt so he can come back and play with Heaps in 2012
3) Rich and Logan get crowded out and never even make a practice squad.
4) Beck and Hall get a few more years in their respsective systems and end up doing better than they have.
