BCS and College Hoops

What does the BCS and college hoops do with each other?



I know whatever we accomplish in football goes solely to ourselves and not the MWC. Since we leave before the evaluation period.



Does the same logic apply to college hoops? Is that why the MWC is trying to take BYU's glory and pawn it onto another team who will be staying in their crapoly conference?



Or is it because Hair Thompson is just butt hurt because he loses our income and will have to down grade to a "lesser" hair stylist?

There are no evaluations of basketball teams. The only thing there is is the distribution of tournament revenues based on how many games the conference played in over the last 4 years. Those games will stay with the MWC, so we are only paying them for our tournament success.

AND with BYU's tourney appearance revenue gone, they will have fewer NCAA tourney seeds, lower RPI for the conference, which in turn hurts more; AND one side note, our larger advertising dollars we bring in during the season for the MTN channel. With utah market GONE-ZO, out, caput, outa there, their advertising/commercial based revenue will go down.

Well done Hair. You have taken down the MWC to worse than WAC level obscurity.

And if youre not careful will lose coaches like Fisher and whats his face at UNLV and you will ahve even more obscurity

I think there is some linkage between the two, and that there is an ncaa bias against BYU who usually get bad seeds, travel across the country, play in opponents back yards, etc..



But with a 1 seed, BYU should be able to overcome those issues and take it to whoever they play, and perhaps restore ncaa respect. (Speaking of linkage, remember when they rejected BYUs petition to get our SC transfer eligible, they said nay, but allowed all others?)
