I'm sure there have been many shed tears by players/fans alike in between the years, but here's more recent SDS proof that makes Y fans chuckle.

How could you blame that loss on the refs? I'd question whether or not she even watched the game if not for the fact that she was actually there.

It seems like almost every time that SDSU starts to excel at something, BYU is there to put them back in their place. It's been that way for at least 30 years. David James, a SLC radio and TV personality, grew up in San Diego, and he often talks about a football game from when he was a kid that was shown on national TV. SDSU was all hyped up for it, and BYU came in and dropped 60 on them. SDSU may be the happiest team to see BYU change conferences.

Studio Anchor: Were there any problems between fans after the game?

You gotta feel for the kids who camped out only to lose their seats to linebreakers. At the same time, how do you let that happen if you're waiting in line for a game like that? If that happened while I'm in line, I'd come out swinging. Those kids should have grown a sack and done something about it.

If this was the game in the early 80s, I think McMahon qb'ed the game, it was great. Every time BYU got the BYU, we got a TD in real short order. I remember the commentators say that even though SUDS had a lot more time of possession than BYU, BYU owned SUDS on the scoreboard.
