#1 is not in reach... not this week anyway. If teams keep biting the dust though the cougars could find themselves in a GREAT position in a few weeks.

Same. I was getting excited thinking we might FINALLY get a 5 or 6 seed. Now it is not out of reach to be a 1 seed and most likely at minimum a 2 or 3.

I have been concerned about getting ranked too high. Concerned for the psyche of this team. Hubris is a very sticky wicket. But the cougs rose up through the adversity yesterday to Victory. Dare we curse the team with our own Fan-NEED/hopes to be #1? Will the team rise above the hubris and trappings of the highest ranking ever for byu hoops? Will they rise above the whole seeding debate and stay grounded-particularly if they get a 1 seed? I hope so. I think they can. Jimmer would be ready! And the team is coming along too.
