I was in the BYU SDSU line from last month. I waited for hours in the snow not even for a ticket, for a freaking WRISTBAND. I counted where I was in line when I got there. So are BYU students that much more outstanding, honest and reputable as you implied?



Nope.



My actual ticket number was several HUNDRED spaces away from when I originally counted. I"m sure it was rationalized by those in front of me as "saving someone's space" or whatever but I still call it line cutting. I was almost twice as far down the line as I was when I started. I was fortunate to still get a ticket but I can't imagine what my reaction would have been had i NOT gotten a ticket.

Memo to all schools with general admission to students:

When it's a big game, do away with the general admission garbage and issue actual tickets for actual seats with actual rows and numbers.
