Steve Kerr during CBS Broadcast BYU is the better team.



This was my favorite part of the whole game. Steve Kerr is pretty non-biased as a college basketball analyst. And he said it 2 or 3 times.

Clark Kellogg agreed with him. I bet that will be the highest rated game of the day for CBS.

But isn't that obvious? BYU beats SDSU handily, both times, by 13...it's obvious they're the better team. What else can you say, SDSU loses badly, twice, to BYU, but SDSU is the better team? Don't think so.

The argument for BYU as a #1 seed had some good foundation. I'm just not convinced that bias has been removed from the seeing process and therefore I'd be shocked beyond belief if something that bizzare would happen.

And what do Herbstreak, Knight, and Phelps have to say now that BYU won and their picks were horribly off???

Talking heads are dumb, they look smart when they're right, dumb when they're wrong. They are the consummate herd mentality guys, if everybody thinks something, so do they, if everybody's bashing somebody, so do they. There isn't an original thinker in the whole herd.

At least Gary Parrish was man enough to come back and compliment BYU and give his #1 seed argument after picking SDSU to win during the week.

The current arguments I like are:

- Sure, BYU beat a good Arizona team that's is (was) in the top 10, but that was before AZ figured things out.

- Sure, BYU beat SDSU twice, but who has SDSU really beaten.

- Sure, BYU has a top 20 SOS, but it's not the same as a top 20 SOS for team in the Big East.

- Sure the MWC is good this year, but that's only because other conferences are down.

- Well, now that BYU has played all their good teams, they'll have to hope that other teams lose to their good opponents.



Every argument is a feeble attempt to diminish what BYU has accomplished. They don't want to believe BYU is as good as they seem. Jimmer can't be this good, so even though he's scoring more against the top teams on the schedule we don't believe it.



Even though BYU has a top 3 RPI, surely they must have beaten all those teams before they "figured" things out or got good.



Even though BYU has as many top 25 RPI wins as any team in the nation, surely they must have beaten teams barely inside the top 25 RPI.



I mean, really? BYU as a #1 seed. That just can't be right. #1 seeds are teams with a resume like BYU's but with a name like Duke or North Carolina or Syracuse.
