Dcr36After the first half of the SDSU game, I was nervous, and hopped over to my chapel building to shoot hoops. I was hoping I could not get home until the end, and if the Cougars won, I'd watch it DVR'd. Anyways, I got back home and there were 3 minutes left. I watched the Cougs pull ahead, and when Davies (or Abouo, memory fails me) had that dagger of a dunk, I did a celebratory fist pump...and lost my balance and drove my left arm straight into linoleum floor, dislocating my shoulder. I think I may care a little too much about BYU athletics.
Awesome/embarrassing detail - I am a U of U grad student (unfortunately), so to get my shoulder fixed, I had to go to the on-campus hospital. It was both cool and depressing to explain to them WHAT I had been doing when my shoulder popped.
