No, Mr. Emmert they only provide the service that pays for your lame job (estimated salary of $1MM). The only thing more ridiculous than a statement like this is when someone like Nick Saban calls an agent a pimp while making $5MM a year on the backs of his players.



So no $2,000 stipend on the horizon for athletes.

Dude, tell me how BYU manages to pay it's women's soccer players, gymnasts and all other sports a $2k stipend, and then run a balanced budget? Tell me how Weber State does it. Or how pretty much every school does it minus a small handful??? And tell me why you continue to devalue the price of a scholarship and room and board many athletes get, which is comparable to what other elite in their field students get? I do not see mathletes out whining for a $2k stipend. Seriously, run the numbers and your goal basically kills the goose.
