Jimmer < (or) > Andrew Bogut?

I know the season isn't over with. I'm not even sure what Bogut's stats were in his final year.



I even think they played different positions. I'm not much of a basketball fan, so I know very little.



Is there a case to debate, which one is the best to come out of this state, in the college world?

Jimmer was/is much better.

I'm not dissing Jimmer at all, so no one think that. I'm not a basketball guy.



But what's your reasoning for saying that?

Bogut played center for Utah, whereas Jimmer plays guard. About as polar opposite as you can get in basketball.



Certainly in college hoops a big man like Bogut is worth their weight in gold, but a prolific guard like Jimmer is a game changer. Given the nature of the position where the guard literally touches the ball every possession, guards have the potential to influence a game more.



As good as Bogut was, he never carried his team like Jimmer did/does.

Bogut's a beast in NBA Jam. So there's that.

For all of Bogut's weight he couldn't get Utah past the Sweet 16 or even a top 5 seed. Jimmer's got a good chance of doing both. Bogut couldn't win the game by himself and certainly never went off for 40+.

Bogut is Australian, Jimmer is All American . . . Enough said.

Bogut looks like bigfoot on a bad day, Jimmer has a girlfriend.

For college its JImmer. Better stats, NPOY probable, and mvp to his team than Bogut was to his team and all the other stats above.

However, For pros, time will tell. Drafted first is hard to top. But I beleive Jimmer will make a bigger splash than Bogut-s

Drafted first is the only thing that Bogut's got on Jimmer, and that doesn't even really matter (just ask the guy who was picked before Jordan).
