Team Goes Pink

The team and the coaches are wearing pink foot gear tomorrow to raise cancer awareness AND, and I like this the best, to show support for Alexis Kaufusi in her own fight against cancer.

“Our players and our staff want Alexis to know that we are thinking of her during this difficult time,” BYU head coach Dave Rose said. “Our thoughts and prayers are with her and her family as she fights this terrible disease. We wish her the very best as she goes through her treatments.”

BYU was one of several programs selected by Nike to wear pink shoes in an effort to raise awareness in the fight against cancer. Last season, the Cougars wore uniforms with pink trim and pink shoes in a home victory against Utah.
