Jimmer's Future Team: Knicks??

It's fun to dream. I might have to become a Knicks fan if Jimmer heads to New York in the draft. They need a PG something fierce and Jimmer could fill the roll plus he'd be rolling with Melo and Amare. Do the Knicks even have a 1st round pick that would allow them to pick up Jimmer this year?? Weren't the Knicks hot on Jimmer last year??

Uck. Go to a team with a bunch of consistent underachievers. Amare is turning into another nobody, along with his old teammate Marion. Both would have been better off sticking it out in Phoenix with Nash.



And then Carmelo. Could there be a more pure definition of wasted talent? The guy has done nothing of real worth since joining the NBA.

How will the Knicks land Jimmer? Didn't they just trade all of their relevant draft picks to the Nuggets? I don't think Jimmer ends up on the Knicks, because they won't be able to draft him.

After doing a little digging, it looks like the Nuggets get a 2014 1st round pick, and then some second round picks, so maybe the Knicks will have a pick for Jimmer. But, lets hope he doesn't end up there. Or the Lakers.

I wanted to make a thread about the Knicks but not about how they MIGHT get him next year, but how they had a chance LAST year to get the future college POY, but weren't willing to commit the first round pick.

What are the chances he ends up with the Jazz? With their pending trade of deron williams and their recent tanking in the standings they are less likely to even make the playoffs and may end up in contention for him. Do you think he would be a good fit there?

Well...he's white, so the Jazz are bound to at least consider him. Although the Jazz usually go with the White midwesterners. But since Jimmer is an easterner who played in the mountain time zone, it could average out and according ot the Jazz he could be considered a midwesterner, and draft him...

Lets see, the Jazz are lacking a PG and shooter soooo...



From a business standpoint the Jazz would be smart to pick up Jimmer. Right now there are a lot of Jazz fans in the state of Utah who have a sour taste in their mouths after the Jerry Sloan debacle. Picking up Jimmer would heal some of those wounds and reignite interest in the Jazz. I would be willing to bet that at least 50% of Jazz fans are also BYU fans and so drafting Jimmer would be smart.

I'd love to see Jimmer go to the Knicks. With guys like Melo and Amare, there's no way there wouldn't be tons of space and tons of shots available for Jimmer.



The Knicks are 5th in the NBA in FGA and 2nd in 3PA and with some of the guys they got rid of and got in return, the Knicks could definitely be looking for an offensive minded PG to take over of the aging Chauncey Billups.

I'm guessing he'll go to the Jazz now after the Williams trade.
