Hawkwing in the hospital for a few days

Hey guys, just wanted to give you all a heads up that I'm in the hospital for the next fee days. Gall stones, inflamed liver, and pancreatitis. Should be fun!

get well soon. I hate hospitals and fee days.

Please, please, please hurry up and get yourself better. Without your calming influence, I'm afeared that the other mods will run roughshod over the rest of us and by the time you get back, this place will make CougarBlue look like a Garden of Eden. Knowing them, they will probably demand that I have some plastic surgery done on my face, but why would they want to mess with perfection?

Those are some painful things I've been told. Gall stones I had. Had to leave a temple session once the pain was so bad. They thought I was having a heart attack and so they sent me to the hospital in an ambulance. It took the third time to have that horrendous pain that they thought to check me for gall stones.

Get well soon. Actually pretty good timing, if it had to happen at all, so you will be tuned up and ready for the run through the MWC and NCAa tournaments. Go Cougars . . . And Hawkwing.

After many years working in healthcare may I share this wisdom - Tell the doctors to hurry up and make you well so you can get out of the hospital before they kill you

God Bless - let me know when you are back as I intend to take it pretty easy on the mods while you are out. I know that it is a tough job moderating any site which is why I never whined about the last totally undeserved warning I got. A moderator would have needed to go back and read the history of several posters behaving as a cartel to see why I had made the polite suggestion I made to one of them.

I'm heading to the hospital for surgery on Thursday. Planning on making it down from OC to SD for the game on Saturday.

One thing about a sight like this; you have more than your ward praying for you.



Coincidentally, I am planning on doing a liver cleanse. It came to me that a person needs it once in a while. If it doesn't work maybe we can get a bed next to each other so when we ain't groaning we can talk about who the Cougars will beat in the big dance.

Thanks everyone. I'll keep you updated. Day 1 in the hospital was long and painful with a few shots or morphine and anti nausea injections. If the g-stone hasn't passed by Tuesday they'll do it surgically and then take out the gall bladder a few days later.
