Another sell-out crowd for BYU

According to Jay Drew, the BYU-TCU game is sold out and more than half of the crowd will be Cougar fans.

It will be interesting to see how many fans on Saturday are cheering for the Cougars. Last week, Air Force's 6,000-seat Clune Arena was sold out for the BYU game, and a little less than half of the crowd was pulling for the Cougars, by my totally unofficial estimation.



An employee in the TCU ticket office said he believes two-thirds of the crowd will by cheering for the Cougars on Saturday. One e-mailer from Houston told me he knows of a group of almost 100 BYU fans from that area that will be traveling up to Fort Worth for the game. The Horned Frogs are averaging 3,937 fans per game this season, with a high of 4,969.

2010-2011 is sure the wrong time for MWC coaches, fans or Admins. to claim that they don't need BYU for gate revenue.
